In 2000, "JönköpingsPosten" publishes an interview, titled: "Våga bära personliga smycken":
"Monika hade en enorm marknad när hon kom till Calcutta, en stad med omkring tolv miljoner invånare som var fullkomligt tokiga i smycken. Bland hundra tusen guldsmeder var hon också den enda kvinnliga, och det gav henne mycket publicitet i både tv och tidninga...hon satsade på stora smycken som det gick att ta bort vissa delar a...Under de femton år som Monika bodde och arbetade i Calcutta jobbade hon som guldsmed och designer, både för privatpersoner och för lokala företag. "Det är verkligen inte lätt att välja ut och premiera webbplatser nu för tiden. Inte för att det inte skulle finnas några bra utan för att det är så många som är så bra!
Den här gången vill jag lyfta fram en webbplats som tillhör en av de många skickliga smyckekonstnärerna i vårt land. Konstnärer gör ofta mycket vackra och häftiga webbplatser, men tyvärr är många av dem ganska svårnavigerade. Särskilt när webbplatserna enbart består av bilder där alla texter och länkar ligger inbakade i bilderna vilket gör att blinda och synskadade knappast alls har någon som helst glädje av dem.
Det misstaget har verkligen inte Monica Roos gjort. Hon är utbildad guld- och silversmed. Dessutom är hon designer och det märks att hon varit angelägen om att sajten och hennes smycken ska fungera väl tillsammans. Webbplatsen är sparsmakad, elegant och föredömligt lättnavigerad och organiserad med fyllig information om aktuella utställningar, kurser, konstnärens CV, etc. Presentationen av bilderna på smyckena fungerar mycket bra. I allt en mycket trevlig webbplats - för att inte tala om vilket enormt habegär som väcks hos en när man ser de fantastiska smyckena, men det är en helt annan historia! "
