Gold is undoubtedly my absolute favourite material to work with and during my 16 years in India I could unabashedly indulge in this passion of mine.

In Sweden however, temperaments and climate are considerably cooler. Thus the material of choice for most people is silver.

On the other hand silver has interesting properties as it does reflect the colours around and was therefore used to manufacture mirrors.  It can also easily be coloured with different chemicals and even the kind of surface structure does influence the “colour”.

The ring “Dhara” displayed here is part of a new collection where I make use of just these characteristics.
